Our advisory board comprises outstanding key influencers in the sporting, media, entertainment, and professional services. Their individual successes and specialized knowledge in their respective fields uniquely qualify them to provide Culture Map with guidance and mentorship, and assist in shaping our strategic direction.

Nathan Bracken (Sporting & Charity Initiatives)

 

Nathan Bracken has received some of the highest accolades in world cricket.

 

In 2001, he won the Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year, and he is the second fastest Australian to reach 100 international ODI wickets. He was named Man of the Series in the 2007/08 Commonwealth Bank Series, and was a part of the ICC ODI Team of the Year. He was named 2009 Australian ODI Player of the Year, ranked number one Australian ODI bowler for 79 weeks straight, and ranked number one globally on several occasions.

 

Off the pitch, Nathan writes for Fairfax, appears on Fox Sports, One HD, Channel 9 and Channel 7 television networks, and 2UE and 2GB radio networks. He features on overseas network ESPN Asia, and a number of Indian and Dubai media outlets.

 

Nathan also donates a great deal of his time to charity, having worked with Variety Club, Camp Quality, Bonnie Babies Foundation, McGrath Foundation, UNICEF, Women In Need, Ovarian Cancer Australia, and Mayumarri.

Sheryl Fenn (Media & Entertainment)

 

Sheryl Fenn’s experience in the media and entertainment industries spans two decades and several continents. Sheryl worked at BBC Worldwide for 11 years as Regional Head of Marketing & Consumer Products across the Asia-Pacific, breaking new ground in China with BBC Worldwide IP. Sheryl has worked for other companies such global accreditation company THUMP Boxing, News Corporation and acted as talent manager for a number of high-profile Australian athletes & personalities. As an Accredited NRL Player Manager at Crown Sports International Management, she helps to drive sponsorship and managed player contractual obligations alongside of her own consultancy contracts with brands in the sports/fitness & media arena.

 

Sheryl brings an unrivalled diversity of hands-on media and entertainment experience to her advisory role at Culture Map. She has the expertise to advise on the areas of sports marketing, licensing of intellectual property, consumer product development, live events, brand partnership, and sponsorship in both global multinationals and small business.

Troy Andres (Professional Services & Compliance)

 

Troy Andres is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and a Registered Migration Agent (0004391). He has over 15 years’ professional experience, including five years as Practice Leader at immigration firm Gilton Valeo, and is regularly invited by his peers to deliver seminars and professional development courses. During his career he has advised the likes of BHP Billiton, Oracle, Salesforce.com, Downer EDI, and Michael Hill, to name a few. His career achievements are underpinned by a Bachelor of Business (UTS), Bachelor of Laws (UTS), and Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (UTS).

 

Troy also sits on the board of Global Outsourcing Solutions Pty Ltd, which is one of the fastest growing outsourcing businesses in Australia.  In this role, Troy assists with the compliance function and advises on the strategic direction of the business whilst sharing his considerable network. Since his appointment, the business has grown from 70 to over 200 staff.

 

Troy brings a wealth of legal expertise and business acumen to the Culture Map team, and provides advice and guidance on both a strategic and an operational level.

John  Katsiris (Digital & Innovation)

 

John Katsiris has 20+ years’ advisory experience in the areas of innovation, business analysis, and project/portfolio management across the finance, IT, computer/ electronics, and manufacturing industries. His expertise lies in designing growth strategies through developing and guiding new business ideas, leveraging best practices, overseeing project management, and streamlining operations.

 

John is founding director of advisory firm MYbrainwave, a professional services company specialising in innovation management. He was previously the founder, past chairman, president and chief innovator for the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA®) Australia (2006 – 2010), and has served 5 years as a director for the Project Management Institute’s Sydney Australia division committed to communications and certification. John also kick-started Professional Education Services for EQuest Consulting, leading delivery and growth of the division.

 

John brings his expertise in innovation to the team at Culture Map.
